Nova Scotian funeral director-turned-songwriter Terra Spencer brings her blend of cinematic storytelling and Maritime wit to Alberta this February! Named the 2026 Canadian Folk Music English Songwriter of the Year, Terra has collaborated with the likes of David Francey, Ben Caplan, and Matt Andersen, and will be bringing fresh songs from her new project 'Conviction'.

Shane Pendergast has folk music in his blood. Hailing from a long lineage of storytellers and musicians in Prince Edward Island, he is keeping the Maritime folk tradition alive with his honest and insightful compositions. From acclaimed folk festivals across the world to the small halls of PEI, Shane has cemented himself as one of Atlantic Canada’s finest folk troubadours. His 2021 album Second Wind won Contemporary Roots Album of the Year at the Music PEI Awards, and in 2025 he released his fourth album Winter Grace, a deeply personal collection that captures both the joys and hardships of life in the Maritimes.
