"Brick and Mortar" wins the commonwealth song contest!

Out of 20,000 songs entered over four years from the 56 Commonwealth countries, "Brick and Mortar" was named the winning song, judged by public voting and votes from ten thousand songwriters.
Inspired by the textile mill in Windsor, Nova Scotia that was also the subject of the song "Cotton Mill", this song was recorded twice, once with Stewart Legere and again with Ben Caplan for the album Old News.
