When critically acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter Colin Fowlie arrived on the scene he brought with him a storied past, unique and compelling compositions in song, and a rich baritone voice. The unique character of his music fuses elements of folk, rock, blues and Americana/Canadiana with a special blend of universally themed storytelling that, along with his down-to-earth personality, create a memorable and captivating listening experience.

Looking to refine the sound that he established with his 2019 debut album “Party Music” Colin enlisted the help of one of Canada’s great musical minds, Ariel Posen, to produce his sophomore effort. They converged in Winnipeg and framed Fowlie’s songs beautifully with the help of an incredible team of musicians, including contributions from Posen, himself a world-renowned guitar virtuoso.

The result of this collaboration is “East Of Nowhere”, a collection of 12 songs about love, loss, and the modern human condition to be released on May 14. Join us on June 2nd as Colin and his band share songs from the album and the stories that inspired them. The evening will also feature a special performance from Nova Scotia-based songwriting juggernaut Terra Spencer.
